HVO+ vs Diesel
The HVO+ has the same main chemical structure as regular Diesel without the additional toxic components. It is more than just a perfect substitute of regular Diesel: it can be used as it is in any existing tanks and engines but at the same time it is more powerful thanks to its purity.

HVO+ has a higher cetane number than regular Diesel, up to 90 compared to 50. This means that the combustion is more efficient and it leads to:
- a quieter engine
- far less non-ignited fuel
- less emissions
- better performance
While regular Diesel is composed of 75% paraffins and 25% Naphthenic & Aromatics, the HVO+ is completely free of these highly toxic and is only constituted of paraffins which are the main energy providing components.
This results in far less emissions of toxic hydrocarbons, particulate matters and nitrous oxides.
Higher cloud point
The HVO+ has a higher cloud point than regular diesel, it can be used in an environment with up to – 40°C compared to -5°C. This particularity gives the HVO+ superior cold weather performance, it can be used in any extreme weather condition.
